Doug Thola began serving the Baraboo community in 2023 as a Community Service Officer with the Baraboo Police Department. His dedication to public service and his strong commitment to community engagement quickly led him to become an active supporter of Baraboo Community Heroes. After regularly volunteering at events, Doug officially joined the Board of Directors in 2024—and was soon elected to serve as President.
In his leadership role, Doug brings a deep passion for the mission of Baraboo Community Heroes and a clear vision for its future. He is committed to strengthening relationships between public safety professionals and the community, especially with local youth.
Doug’s work reflects his belief in the importance of service, connection, and creating opportunities for positive change. Whether he’s coordinating with community partners, supporting youth-focused initiatives, or leading board efforts, Doug is proud to serve an organization that celebrates and uplifts the Baraboo community.

Through this role, Brendon has built meaningful relationships with students, staff, and families—fostering a safer and more connected school environment.
Since joining the department, Brendon has actively participated in Baraboo Community Heroes events, showing a consistent commitment to bridging the gap between public safety and the community. In 2024, he deepened that involvement by joining the Baraboo Community Heroes Board of Directors and was shortly thereafter elected as Secretary.
Brendon brings a strong focus on community relations and public engagement to both his professional and volunteer work. Whether he's planning events, mentoring students, or collaborating with fellow board members, Brendon remains passionate about making a positive impact in Baraboo.

In 2025, she stepped into the role of Public Relations Officer, where she now assists in organizational communications and event coordination—helping to amplify the mission of Baraboo Community Heroes and foster stronger connections throughout the community.
With a professional background in the Baraboo School District, Caron has spent much of her career working directly with youth—supporting their growth, well-being, and success. Her deep understanding of the challenges and strengths within the community helps guide both outreach and programming.
Caron has a strong passion for recognizing the good works of our local first responders. In addition to her work with Community Heroes, she regularly attends other community events to take photos and highlight the efforts of those who serve, sharing their stories and contributions through social media.
Outside of her various professional roles, Caron enjoys spending quality time with family and friends and makes a point to get in plenty of long walks. Her commitment to service, storytelling, and community shines through in every aspect of her work, making her a continued force for positive change in Baraboo.

Stacy Blakemore brings a strong background in public safety and community engagement to her role on the Baraboo Community Heroes board. Since joining in 2023, she has played an important role in advancing the organization’s mission to help youth build meaningful relationships with public safety professionals.
She currently serves as the Deputy Director for Sauk County Emergency Management, where she leads efforts in preparedness, response, and community resilience. Stacy began her career in public safety as a paramedic, a path that naturally led her into the field of emergency management. She is also a former volunteer with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Madison, reflecting her long-standing commitment to service and family support.
Outside of her professional and volunteer work, Stacy enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and dogs—and loves being out on the water boating.
